Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join a hospital team in Houston, TX as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting physicians and Cath Lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical images and data of the heart and vascular system. This opportunity supports a high-volume cath lab performing EP, structural heart and coronary procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Cath lab experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with GE, Philips, or Siemens imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience working with EMR systems; facility uses Merge.
• Must be self-motivated and team focused.
• Client-specific: experience in EP and structural heart procedures preferred.
• State licensure when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting with coronaries, EP and structural heart cases preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1700.
• Call on a rotational basis with existing staff for after-hours and weekends.
• Floating to Cath Lab pre- and post-procedure areas as needed.
• Scrub color: royal blue.
