Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support a high-performing cardiac catheterization lab in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves assisting with a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to clinical needs
- Perform imaging and support fluoroscopic procedures
- Document procedures using Epic electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Procedures Include:
- Coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Cardiac arrhythmia treatments
- Permanent pacemaker placements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- ARRT certification (required)
- Fluoroscopy Permit (must be applied for at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular procedures
