Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician with strong Cardiac Cath experience and additional expertise in at least one of the following specialties: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures. Candidates must demonstrate experience in at least two of the four modalities within their work history.
This role requires a collaborative team player who can thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and float between multiple facilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
- Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and patient records
- Float between facilities within scope of practice as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
- 2 years preferred
- Experience in at least two of the following:
- Cardiac Cath
- Interventional Radiology
- Vascular
- Neuro
- Cath Lab Scrub Technologist experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Certifications
Preferred Certifications
- RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technician)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
