Cath Lab Technician / Special Procedures Technologist

A hospital in Cypress, Texas is seeking a mid-level Cath Lab Technician or Special Procedures Technologist to join its clinical team. This is a fully on-site, in-person position requiring regular reporting to a designated facility location in Cypress. Partial relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position and no travel is required.

This role supports invasive cardiovascular and special procedures within the cath lab environment. The technologist will bring clinical expertise to both diagnostic and interventional procedures, working closely alongside physicians and care teams to deliver safe and effective patient care throughout every stage of each procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive cardiovascular and special procedures in the cath lab setting
• Apply clinical knowledge during diagnostic and interventional cases
• Collaborate directly with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams during procedures
• Monitor patients and equipment throughout each procedure to maintain safety
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural supplies
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedural details and patient information
• Follow established safety protocols and quality standards at all times

Qualifications

• ARRT-CV or RCIS certification required
• MRT or RCIS credential required
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or invasive cardiovascular technology required
