Job Description:
Bassett Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join their cardiovascular team. The candidate will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and ensure proper equipment setup
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patients during procedures, including vital signs and responses
- Administer contrast media as directed
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and care quality
Schedule & On-Call:
- 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- On-Call Required:
- 1 night/week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification – Required
- Active New York State License – Required(2–4 weeks processing time)
- RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT
- Minimum 1–2 years Cath Lab experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and sterile techniques

- Must be flexible with schedule and call requirements
- RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to submission
