PeaceHealth is seeking a Radiology Technologist – Special Procedures (Cath Lab) to join our dedicated team in Springfield, Oregon. What You’ll Do


As a Cath Lab Technologist , you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional care. Your responsibilities include:


+ Performing angiographic and cardiac catheterization procedures

+ Administering contrast agents under physician direction

+ Evaluating images for technical quality and optimizing exams using patient history and prior studies

+ Applying radiation safety principles and initiating life support measures when needed

+ Preparing exam rooms and equipment to meet physician and patient needs

+ Educating patients before and after procedures

+ Collaborating with physicians and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes


What You Bring


Education & Credentials:


+ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

+ ARRT eligibility or ARRT-R

+ Registered with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). Recent graduates of an accredited education program that provides eligibility to sit for the ARRT-R exam, may be employed for up to 6 months under a temporary OBMI license. Those graduates will have a six-month grace period in which to pass the ARRT-R exam and receive their OBMI license.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) – required upon hire

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months


Experience & Skills:


+ Prior experience in general imaging preferred

+ Strong knowledge of radiologic principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

+ Ability to adapt exams to patient needs and resolve care-related challenges

+ PACS/RIS proficiency (ImageCast/CareCast experience preferred)

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

+ Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
