Job Title: Catholic Musician Location: Recruit Memorial Chapel and Blue Jacket Memorial Chapel, Great Lakes, IllinoisJob type: Part-time.Qualifications:
The applicant shall have a clear understanding of Navy organization and the pluralistic ministry requirements that affect the use of Chapel facilities and staff.
The applicant shall have at least two years of pianist, and/or organ experience with a Roman Catholic congregation or religious worship.
The applicant shall demonstrate requisite skills in a variety of sacred musical genres appropriate for a variety of sacred music styles found in Roman Catholic Mass.
Duties:
Play music at Sunday service of worship: 104 units.
Conduct Music for special services of worship: 10 units.
Play music for Command Memorial Services as needed: 5 units.
Lead volunteer choirs in both Chapels: 104 units.
