Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required and Graduate Diploma Related Field of Study preferred
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Experience in a hospital setting or relevant spiritual, ministry, pastoral, congregational or other relevant experience 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Maintains and demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of bereavement principles, practices, standards, and techniques, and applies this knowledge in accordance with St. - Knowledge of various religious practices, health care ethics, grief and bereavement counseling techniques with hospice families, and excellent work organization skills.
- At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from an accredited ACPE or NACC training program preferred. More is preferred
- Proficient at multitasking and having a high level of problem-solving skills. - Demonstrates resiliency with matters of death and dying. - Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
