Summary:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering a Catholic Religious Education (RE) and sacramental preparation program to support the spiritual development of the Catholic community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead weekly RE programs for all age groups (Pre-K through adult)
  • Coordinate parish activities, ministries, and special events
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and catechists
  • Develop annual program plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Communicate with parents, staff, and chapel leadership
  • Manage classroom logistics, supplies, and facilities
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and program evaluations

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time, up to 10 hours per week
  • Includes Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
  • Catechist Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in religious education or program coordination

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education, Theology, or related field
