Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong CATIA skills and packaging knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work onsite at our Saline, Michigan office 5 days/week
- Ability to work up to 30% overtime
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle-specific mechanical design/development
- Experience with wiring or other electrical background
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create CATIA products by integrating surrounding parts and designing interfacing parts solutions while ensuring packaging requirements are satisfied
- Identify critical sections and document evidence of successful packaging of 3D components on 2D planning drawings
- Support part list changes and the preparation of engineering change instructions
- Assist engineers in creating wiring specifications, parts lists, and other vehicle development-related documentation
