Job Overview:
The Timekeeper applies their conceptual knowledge of Timekeeping and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Timekeeping problems. They will be responsible for analyzing workable solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Timekeeper understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of workable solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. The Timekeeper will be responsible for maintaining proper communication and documentation between the project team and field while ensuring the craft population is paid accurately and on time.

Essential Qualifications and Education:
3+ years of timekeeping experience, preferably in an oil and gas project environment.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study preferred
Strong proficiency in mathematical computations, data entry and filing
Must be able to create, formulate, and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel
Good proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
The individual must possess good knowledge of professional timekeeping principles, concepts, and terminology, working knowledge of electronic timekeeping systems, and payroll related principles, concepts and terminology as basic accounting and craft payroll work processes

An adaptive learner with strong organization skills, a high degree of accuracy and diligence while working in a demanding environment with critical deadlines
Possess effective communication skills (written/verbal) with an ability to interface with diverse levels of personnel

Willingness to collaborate and share ideas with team to increase efficiencies
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
Interest in learning about labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to timekeeping and Payroll
Ability to train others in use of software applications used for document management and timekeeping activities
Willingness to adapt to modern technologies and processes
Additional Physical and Work Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing data entry and computer-based tasks.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds when necessary (e.g., files, boxes, or records).
Ability to work overtime as required, including weekends or extended hours during peak periods, audits, or project deadlines
