What Your Day Might Look Like Responsible for providing a full range of speech pathology services including assessment treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the positions qualifications professional practices and ethical standards. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development quality improvement problem-solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. More specifically 1. Evaluating and diagnosing speech and language skills as related to educational medical social and psychological factors. 2. Planning directing or conducting rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology. 3. Providing counseling and guidance and language development therapy to disabled individuals. 4. Reviewing individual file to obtain background information prior to evaluation to determine appropriate tests and to ensure that adequate information is available. 5. Developing and implementing individualized plans for assigned clients to meet individual needs interests and abilities. 6. Evaluating and monitoring individuals using audiovisual equipment. Reviews treatment plans and assesses individual performance to modify change or write new programs. 7. Maintaining records as required by law establishments policy and administrative regulations. 8. Attending meetings and conferences and participates in other activities to promote professional growth. 9. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Evidence of graduation from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
