Position Summary:
    Supervises Operations for Butler County CCMEP TANF Youth Services by supervising program activities 
related to community engagement and work experience. Provides supervision for Workforce Development 
Specialists. Ensures compliance of records and services by adhering to organizational and funding source 
policies, procedures, and accreditation.

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Promotes positive relationships by establishing and maintaining professional rapport with referral sources, professional organizations, governmental agencies, consumers and others
  • Supervises staff and operations by assigning tasks, providing directions, resolving work problems, conducting meetings, overseeing recruitment, and orienting and training employees with assistance from the Program Manager.
  • Conducts regular feedback meetings and performance reviews. Determines work schedules, grants sick time, vacation and other leaves.
  • Establishes staff training recommendations based on performance (case notes, documentation, usage of systems, and staff development.
  • Represents program by attending meetings and participating in committees.
  • Implements and enforces agency policies, procedures and quality standards in accordance with funding source expectations.
  • Markets program services and agency operations to public, community outreach, referral sources, funding sources and employers.
  • Oversee the Work Experience Program, including the Summer Youth Work Experience, by maintaining relationships with worksites, providing guidance to staff regarding proper process, entering timecards and keeping records of hours worked, maintaining worksite agreements.
  • Oversees Job Readiness Training processes/policies.
  • Recognizes the need for workshops/engagement sessions to promote career path development and will work with appropriate partners and staff to develop and implement.
  • Maintains required documentation including required reports and service delivery summaries.
  • Maintains confidentiality of consumer files and other sensitive subject matter. 
  • Attends required meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge and skills by attending meetings, seminars and workshops and conducting  presentations.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal 
  • schedule as needed to meet workload demands.
  • Provides back-up case management services when necessary to facilitate continuous participant engagement and goal attainment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:
  • An appropriate combination of education, training, course work, and experience may qualify.
  • an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.
  • Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
