Position Description
This is an indirect hourly position reporting directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating plant-wide activities hour to hour with other group leaders to insure a steady flow of product through the plant.
Key Responsibilities
• Insure bottleneck area properly manned. • Sequencing orders to minimize setup time. • Work with Sales and Drafting to insure quality levels and Production schedules are maintained. • Must have extensive knowledge of product design and specification. • Must know order entry system. • Very knowledgeable of shop floor control and manufacturing processes and procedures. • May prepare and maintain various reports as assigned by Production Supervisor. • Will act as Production Supervisor in their absence. • Maintain safe working environment and good housekeeping practices.
Required Education & Qualifications
Team Orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills PC Proficiency Flexible Result oriented Strong Organizational skills HS diploma and/or GED required. AAAS degree a plus or a minimum 5 years in production. This list is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
