Overview

Susquehanna is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a front office team responsible for designing and building low-latency trading systems that power our trading strategies. Our short development cycles mean your work reaches production quickly, and your impact is immediate and visible.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build high-performance, low-latency systems where architecture choices directly affect trading outcomes
• Own the full technical stack - from system design through implementation - with a focus on stability, scalability, and minimizing operational risk
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies, tools, and approaches to keep our systems and infrastructure ahead of the curve
• Apply strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, to build systems that are both fast and maintainable

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent
• 3+ years of progressive experience developing software applications or trading infrastructure
• Strong foundation in system design, with the judgment to balance performance, reliability, and simplicity
• Experience with (or strong aptitude for) high-performance or low-latency system development
• Solid object-oriented programming skills and sound engineering practices
• Comfort working directly with non-engineering stakeholders (traders, quants) to shape technical solutions around real trading needs
• Curiosity and initiative, with a track record of investigating new technologies and proposing improvements
