Join Express Employment as a CDL-A P&D Driver

Express Employment is hiring for CDL-A drivers to support a local company. This is a local-only role — you will be home every night.

A day in the life

You start with a thorough pre-trip inspection, confirm your route, and make sure logs and inspection paperwork are in order. Throughout the day, you navigate city streets, pick up and deliver materials and equipment to active jobsites, and keep the truck clean and road-ready. You handle basic maintenance when needed and operate safely in heavy traffic or poor weather. You wrap up by ensuring all DOT requirements are documented and your equipment is ready for the next shift.

What you will do

• Keep DOT-required records, inspections, and logs accurate and current.
• Drive defensively in urban areas, including during heavy traffic and inclement weather.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections; perform basic truck upkeep as needed.
• Maintain equipment in clean, fully operational condition.
• Uphold a clean driving record.
• Pick up and deliver materials and/or equipment to jobsites.

What you bring

• Must have a CDL endorsement (CDL-A).
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to occasionally lift and kneel as part of the job.

Local driving only. Home every night.
