CDL A Driver - Light Touch - $26.00 Per Hour - Harvard, Illinois
About the Position
We are looking for CDL Class A Drivers based out of Harvard, Illinois. The work is considered light-touch freight with driver-assist unload. Drivers should be comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate when needed.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
- Schedule: 5-6 days per week
- Shift: Approximately 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to retail locations using automatic equipment
- Assist with unloading freight in a professional manner
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and Ryder / True Value site contacts
- Potentially 3 - 4 layovers per week depending on route
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
