Job Details

This local CDL A Driver role is based in DeSoto, TX and pays $24.97 per hour. You will handle dedicated local delivery routes with light-touch freight and home-daily operation. This TransForce driving opportunity offers dedicated route work and support for drivers serving our client in DeSoto.

This role requires the ability to operate a manual transmission. Automatic-only restrictions cannot be accepted.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.97 per hour - $1350/week, avg up to $1500/week.
• Typically Tuesday-Saturday, with some Monday-Friday schedules available, usually evening start times
• Drivers may be scheduled up to six days per week as operationally needed

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on local routes that typically cover 250-300 miles from the terminal.
• Complete assigned pickup, delivery, and relay routes for a time-sensitive automotive operation.
• Handle light-touch freight and follow assigned delivery windows.
• Communicate delays, ETA changes, and operational issues to dispatch.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
