Role Overview

A dedicated regional freight operation is seeking experienced solo CDL-A drivers for a home-weekly position offering consistent no-touch, drop-and-hook freight. Drivers will operate regional routes between Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, and surrounding areas while hauling steady dedicated freight with assigned equipment and modern safety technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport dedicated freight across regional delivery routes
• Run routes between Arnold, PA, North Carolina, Maryland, and surrounding areas
• Handle no-touch, drop-and-hook freight operations
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logs and trip documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel
• Operate safely in varying traffic and weather conditions

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Minimum experience required for dedicated fleet operation
• Comfortable operating regional routes with flexible schedules
• Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
• Ability to work up to 14 hours per day as needed
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the yard
• Drivers must commute to the terminal since trucks cannot be taken home

Route Information

• Dedicated regional freight operation

Schedule & Home Time

• Weekly 34-hour reset
• Home weekly
• No set start time or fixed schedule
• Work week typically begins Sunday and runs through Friday evening
• Drivers may work up to 14 hours per day based on freight demand

Equipment

• Light weight sleeper trucks
• Fully automatic transmissions
• Advanced safety technology including:
  • Lane Assist with Collision Avoidance
  • Stability Control
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
• Trucks governed at 65 MPH cruise / 63 MPH pedal
• Assigned trucks
• Trucks cannot be taken home

Orientation Information

• No remote orientation available
• Drivers must report onsite for orientation

Terminal Information

• Arnold, PA facility
• Drivers must have transportation to and from the terminal
