Role Overview

A nationwide flex fleet operation is seeking CDL-A drivers for a hands-on OTR driving position delivering dry freight across the lower 48 states. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer to stay active while driving and are comfortable with physical unloading responsibilities. Drivers will operate on flexible nationwide routes based on freight demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport dry freight safely and efficiently across the lower 48 states
• Unload freight using rollers at customer delivery locations
• Handle an average of 4,500 cases per load with multiple delivery stops
• Operate within a flexible nationwide dispatch system based on freight demand
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Follow DOT safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and delivery locations

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license required
• Ability to handle physically demanding touch freight deliveries
• Comfortable unloading freight using rollers
• Willingness to run nationwide OTR routes
• Strong work ethic and safety-focused mindset
• Ability to remain out for 3 weeks at a time
• Ability to operate safely in varying weather and traffic conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• Average weekly pay: $1,500
• Average annual pay: $78,000
• CPM pay structure based on experience

Pay Breakdown

• 0–6 months: $0.55 CPM
• 7–12 months: $0.56 CPM
• 13–24 months: $0.57 CPM
• 25–36 months: $0.58 CPM
• 37–38 months: $0.59 CPM
• 39–48 months: $0.60 CPM
• 49–60 months: $0.61 CPM
• 61+ months: $0.62 CPM
