The Route:
Dedicated retail freight, no touch dry van
I-95 corridor from Florida to Maine, west to Ohio and Alabama
Average 2 stops per week
50% drop and hook, 50% live load
Two weeks out, two days home
Freightliner Cascadia or Western Star, automatic transmission
Average truck age: 18 months
Truck permanently assigned to driver
APU on most trucks
Truck parking at home or secure location
Requirements:
Valid CDL-A license
Minimum 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience (40ft or longer)
Must be comfortable with day and night deliveries
Must be at least 21 years of age
No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
No felony convictions in the past 7 years
No terminations from last 2 driving jobs
Must pass hair follicle drug screening
