About the Position

We are currently seeking a CDL A Driver for local delivery in Lithia Springs, GA. This position offers a pay rate of $28.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime. The driver will be responsible for heavy touch freight and will enjoy the benefit of being home daily. This is a night shift position with shfit start times between 9pm to 1:30am. 

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $28.00 Per Hour
• Hours per Week: 40+
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, nights - start between 9PM-1:30AM

Job Details

• Route Type: Local Delivery
• Freight: Palletized office supplies
• Equipment: Dry van with lift gate, manual pallet jack
• Handling: Heavy Touch Freight - use pallet jack and lift gate

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently
• Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• CDL A License
• Physically capable of safely lifting up to 70lbs
