CDL A Driver

MAERSKis hiring Class A Truck Driver with DELIVERY experience

Requirements:

• Non CDL (CLEAN MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD)
• Must have at least1 full year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Delivery experience A MUST
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record
• Medical DOT Card mandatory
• Must be at least 22 years of age
• Must be comfortable driving both Tractor Trailers and Straight Trucks

Physical Requirements:This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires the employee to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head. The employee must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. The position requires regular use of a phone and a PC and reading and writing of various shipping documents.

• Touch Freight
• Comfortable with assembling/disasembling freight
• Able to apply basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret maps
• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas
• Ability to read and understand tariff signs and signals
• Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and other related documents
• Basic PC skills
• Good written and verbal skills
• Ability to discern numbers and information
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Able to use various dock equipment sucks as forklifts, pallet jacks, banding/shrink wrap, and other materials

PAY: $25/HR

The above stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws
