What happens after you apply
A recruiter calls the same business day and goes over your license and record with you. Orientation takes 2 days at most; the hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 for attending once hired. Then you ride 4 to 6 weeks with a mentor who coaches you on backing, logs, fueling and trip planning, and you are paid $800 a week while you learn. When you are ready, you get your own assigned truck, about 1.5 years old on average. For your first 3 months solo, your pay will not drop below $1,000 a week.
