Job Description
Merced drivers: new CDL holders train on the road, get paid every week, and stay in the West.
Pay First
- Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
- Solo guarantee: $1,000 a week for 3 months after first solo dispatch
- Extra performance pay, up to 6 cents per mile
- $15 for each stop
Training for New CDL Holders
- $650 weekly training pay
- Trainer rides with you on live freight
- Full solo pay once you are signed off
Where You Run
- 11 western states, short trips
- About 1,700 to 2,100 miles weekly
- Home every 2 weeks, some winter driving

Requirements
- Class A CDL, 21 or older
- Brand new drivers: proof of 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
- Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
- 2 moving violations or fewer in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years
- Clean DUI/DWI history for 5 to 10 years, based on when you got your CDL
- Able to pass a DOT physical plus hair and urine drug testing
