Now hiring for a CDL A Driver

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Rate: $28.50 per hour

Schedule: Typical start time: 6:00 AM | Schedule varies based on business needs | 4-5 days per week, 10 to 12-hour shifts | Overtime available

Home every night, weekly pay, and a route you can count on.

What You'll Do (Job Duties):

• Safely operate a 53′ reefer trailer and/or 26′ reefer straight truck with liftgate and roll-up door.
• Deliver grocery products to retail store locations throughout the Salt Lake City area.
• Complete multi-stop delivery routes averaging 16-18 stops per day.
• Unload products using pallet jacks, hand carts, and other delivery equipment as needed.
• Perform touch freight deliveries and ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Follow all FMCSA regulations, company safety policies, and customer service standards.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and store personnel.

What You'll Bring to the Team (Requirements):

• CDL-A license preferred; Class B drivers will also be considered.
• Minimum age of 22 years old.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents (or combination) within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or other serious driving violations within the past 5 years.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform touch freight deliveries using pallet jacks and hand carts.
• Penske and HireRight approval required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and defensive driving techniques.
