About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver for a local mail delivery position supporting routes in Akron, Ohio. This role involves hauling rolling carts of mail with light-touch freight handling and driver unload responsibilities.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay rates: $32.56 per hour
- $28.56 per hour, and $28.01 per hour
- Health and welfare benefit of $5.36 per hour
- Sunday and Saturday schedule
- Sunday start time: 5:00 a.m., with four-hour days
- Saturday start time: 2:00 p.m., with five-hour days
Job Details

- Handling: Light touch freight and driver unload
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle on local mail routes.
- Transport rolling carts of mail between post offices.
- Complete driver unload duties at designated locations.
- Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
- Provide professional and reliable service at each stop.
Minimum Requirements
- CDL Class A license.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
