A Commercial Driving CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles while also inspecting, maintaining, and repairing trailers and transportation equipment to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.
Typical Duties
90 percent Warehouse work, 10 percent driving
Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
Transport freight to designated locations on schedule.
Warehouse and outside labor
Secure cargo properly and verify load accuracy
Report vehicle maintenance or safety issues
Follow company safety procedures and traffic laws
Skills & Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license
Clean driving record
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
Ability to operate manual or automatic transmissions
Time management and route planning skills
Ability to lift and move freight when required
High school diploma or GED preferred
