CDL A Driver

Company Overview: 

Well-established company with 30+ years in business and continued growth. Located in Willoughby Hills, OH, they are looking to add experienced CDL A Drivers to their team.

Position Overview

• CDL: Class A (Reefer)
• Transmission: Mostly automatic; some manual
• Fleet: Modern, generally 5 years old or newer
• Freight: Produce products
• Routes: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Cincinnati, and Buffalo, NY
• Stops: Typically 2–4 per day
• Freight Handling: Combination of touch and no-touch; drivers may occasionally load/unload using a pallet jack

Schedule

• Days: Monday–Friday
• Start Time: Typically 4:00–5:00 AM
• Hours: Approximately 10–12 hours per day
• Routes: Drivers are generally kept on similar routes but may vary based on business needs.

Pay

• $24–$26/hour (depending on experience)
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Safety & retention bonuses: Up to $2,000 every 6 months

Requirements

• 2–3 years of CDL A experience preferred
• OTR, regional, or long-haul local experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean MVR with zero license points
• No recent accidents
• MVR reviewed over the past 3-4 years

Background Requirements

• No SAP drivers
• No previous DUIs
• No failed drug screenings
• No sexual or violent offenses
• No more than 3 total convictions
