TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support Local operations based in Odenton/Crofton, MD.
Temp-to-Hire: This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, potential for permanent placement, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL-A Flatbed Driver Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Fri / 1st Shift / home daily
- Pay: $27-$28 Per hour
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Concrete materials, building materials / flatbed strapping required
- Equipment: Tractor Trailer, Flatbed, Automatic
- Handling: Strapping
- License: CDL-A
- Experience: 2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience & previous flatbed experience required.
- Endorsements: None
- Equipment Experience: Flatbed
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate CDL-A Flatbed on local routes
- Transport concrete materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including strapping & unstrapping
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
