CDL-A Freight Transport Specialist

Start your route from our Mt Olive, NC facility and help keep freight moving safely and on time. In this role, you’ll operate Class A equipment with precision, represent our team with professionalism at every stop, and be rewarded on a per-load basis.

Compensation: Paid per load at $60 per load.

A day on the road

You’ll complete a thorough pre-trip inspection, confirm your dispatch details, and head out to designated locations. On the road, you’ll follow all traffic laws and company procedures, keeping close communication with dispatch about schedules or any issues. At delivery, you’ll provide courteous, efficient service and assist with loading and unloading as needed. Before you finish, you’ll conduct a post-trip inspection and finalize accurate logs for driving hours, mileage, and fuel.

What you’ll handle

• Operate Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to assigned destinations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Maintain precise logs of hours, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies at all times.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch on schedules and any en-route challenges.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo when required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at each stop.

What you bring

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Self-starter with strong time-management skills.
• Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
