Job Summary

Are you ready for a NEW CAREER with the potential to earn stable, excellent pay while gaining valuable driving experience? McKee Foods is seeking an Inexperienced CDL A Truck Driver (0 - 6 months experience) to join our team at our Stuarts Draft, VA location.

Pay & Compensation

• Starting Pay: Stable pay STARTING at $1,339 / week after initial training (includes delivery premium)

• Step-by-Step Pay Bumps: Eligible for performance-based increases as you gain experience. Each new level requires a minimum of 6 months at the previous step:

• Step 2: $1,437 / week (eligible after 6 months at starting pay)

• Step 3: $1,557 / week (eligible after 6 months at Step 2)

• Step 4: $1,618 / week (eligible after 6 months at Step 3)

• Top-Earner Potential: Our more experienced drivers average $84,100 / year (includes extra trips).

• Extra Earning Potential: Extra trips are available to easily increase your weekly pay

• Profit Sharing: 60+ years of profit-sharing cash bonuses

• Per Diem: Partial pay for road expenses

Schedule and Route

• Dedicated Region: Cover a dedicated route network consisting primarily of the Northeastern states
• Overnight Trips: Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week
• Freight: Unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently at delivery locations

Required Qualifications

• License: Current Class A CDL
• Experience: 0 to 6 months of experience driving a tractor-trailer
• Team Mindset: Willingness to drive team
• Physical Ability: Ability to unload a trailer containing cases of snack cake products, regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
• Endorsements: Ability to obtain a tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment
• Safety & Professionalism: Good driving record (MVR) and demonstrated ability to work well with co-workers and management
