Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting qualified CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated local position based in Shafter, California.

SCHEDULE

Important: This is an afternoon/evening position.

• Primary dispatch window: approximately 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Weekend availability required
• Typically 2 consecutive days off
• Days off generally fall during the week
• Saturday/Sunday off is not guaranteed

This position is best suited for drivers who are comfortable with afternoon/evening starts and working weekends.

THE JOB

Drivers operate dedicated retail routes throughout Southern California, based out of the Shafter distribution center.

Typical operations include:

• Approximately 1,400 miles per week
• 2–3 stops per route
• Preloaded freight
• No-touch deliveries
• Dedicated customer routes
• Backhaul to the Shafter distribution center

Drivers are not generally responsible for physically loading or unloading freight.

EQUIPMENT

• Newer tractors
• Automatic transmissions
• Dry van & reefer trailers
• Dedicated equipment
• Slip-seat operation

Trucks remain at the Shafter distribution center when not assigned to a driver.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months qualifying CDL-A experience
• Meet applicable DOT and carrier requirements
• Safe driving history
• Reliable attendance
• Comfortable with afternoon/evening dispatches
• Willing to work weekends
• Comfortable with weekday days off
• Must live within approximately 50 miles of Shafter, CA
• Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
