CDL-A Local Dedicated Driver | Albany, NY | Home Daily | Earn $2,000/Week

We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local dedicated route based in Schodack Landing, NY. This position offers excellent earning potential, consistent freight, daily home time, and automatic day cabs.

Drivers make local deliveries of preloaded palletized freight with approximately 2 stops per load. This is a driver-assist position using a pallet jack provided at customer locations.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Earnings:$2,000–$2,020
• Annual Earnings: Approximately $105,000
• Mileage Pay:$0.76–$0.78 CPM
• Stop Pay:$40 per stop
• Drop & Hook Pay:$25 per drop
• Daily Attendance Pay:$94 per day when all 5 scheduled days are worked
• New Hire Training Pay:$240 per day
• Safety Training Pay:$20 per hour
• Holiday Pay:$200 per eligible holiday
• Off-Account Work Pay:$225–$400 per day, when applicable
• Weekly direct deposit

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Dedicated local routes
• Approximately 2 stops per load
• Holiday work may be required when scheduled
• Steady year-round freight

What You'll Do

• Deliver palletized freight to customer locations
• Operate automatic day cab tractors
• Complete multi-stop local deliveries
• Assist with moving palletized freight to the trailer tail using a pallet jack
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain safe driving practices and DOT compliance
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations

This is a driver-assist position. Drivers use pallet jacks supplied by customers to move freight to the rear of the trailer for unloading.

Equipment

• Automatic Day Cab Trucks
• Dry Van Trailers
• Preloaded Freight
• Some slip seating based on seniority
• Trucks remain at the terminal (cannot be taken home)

Operating Area

• Local deliveries throughout the Albany, NY region
• Primary delivery area within approximately 150 miles of the distribution center
• No New York City deliveries

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within 30 miles of Schodack Landing, NY
• Comfortable with multi-stop deliveries
• Able to perform driver-assist pallet jack work
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willing to wear company-provided uniforms
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and company hiring requirements
