We are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver/Rigger to join our team. This position is responsible for performing rigging duties and operating semi tractors and trailers safely and efficiently on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience moving and installing heavy equipment, working with rigging systems, and collaborating with team members to complete projects safely and on schedule.
5% Driving, 95% Dismantling, relocating, installing, and repairs of industrial equipment and machinery onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate semi tractors and trailers to transport equipment and materials.
Perform rigging duties, including loading, unloading, lifting, and positioning machinery.
Assist with the dismantling, relocation, installation, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.
Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate project activities and ensure safe operations.
Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Maintain equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Current DOT physical certification.
Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
Certified forklift operator, or ability to obtain certification.
Strong knowledge of proper load securement and material handling practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, welders, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials when required.
Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving and rigging experience.
Experience with machinery moving, industrial installation, or heavy-haul transportation is preferred.
