Job Duties

• Operate a Class A dry van
• Transport electrical supplies
• Load and unload touch freight
• Use a pallet jack to move products
• Complete assigned local routes
• Perform required vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery records
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
• Clear motor vehicle record
• At least one year of CDL experience within the past three years
• No more than three moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past three years
• No DUI, reckless-driving, or other serious violations within the past five years
• Ability to load and unload freight
• Dependable attendance and strong safety record

What You Will Do

As a CDL A Local Driver you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight on local routes while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards. You will inspect equipment before and after each trip, complete transportation documentation, communicate with dispatch and customers, secure freight when required, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to safe driving practices.

A CDL A Local Driver safely operates Class A commercial vehicles while helping organizations transport products efficiently and responsibly throughout local service areas. This role combines technical driving skills with professionalism, safety awareness, and regulatory compliance.
