THE OPPORTUNITY

Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated local intermodal account in Paris, Texas.

Carrier information will be provided to qualified candidates during the recruiting process.

If you're looking for a home-daily CDL-A position without the extended time away from home that comes with OTR work, this opportunity offers a local operation, night-shift schedule, and consistent intermodal freight.

Drivers transport containers to and from the rail within the local service area. The operation includes a combination of live loads, live unloads, and drop-and-hook freight, depending on the assignment.

PAY & EARNING POTENTIAL

Your pay is based on experience and includes multiple compensation opportunities:

• $0.37–$0.43 CPM
• +$0.06 CPM night differential
• +$0.12 CPM weekend differential
• $40 per customer-paid load
• Approximately 1,100 miles per week
• $1,200–$1,300 average weekly earnings

Actual earnings vary based on miles, loads, differentials, and applicable carrier pay policies.

HOME TIME & SCHEDULE

Home Daily

Two schedule options are available:

• Sunday–Thursday
• Tuesday–Saturday

This is a night-shift position, and drivers must be comfortable operating during nighttime hours.

Weekend work is required as part of the assigned schedule. Holiday work may also be required based on operational needs.

Drivers looking specifically for a traditional Monday–Friday daytime schedule may not be a good fit for this position.

FREIGHT & OPERATION

• Local intermodal freight
• No-touch freight — drivers do not physically load or unload the cargo inside the containers.
• Rail-to-customer and customer-to-rail moves
• Live loads
• Live unloads
• Drop-and-hook freight
• Approximately 1,100 miles per week
• Local service area

The combination of live and drop-and-hook work means drivers should be comfortable with the different operating requirements associated with intermodal freight.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

To be considered, you must have:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience
• Experienced first-seat drivers only; trainees are not accepted.
• Ability to work the assigned night shift
• Ability to work the required weekend schedule
• Residence within 30 miles of ZIP code 75460
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and carrier qualification requirements
• Reliable attendance and safe driving habits

Leadership approval is required for this position.

The hiring radius refers to the driver's residence and is separate from the operating area of the local intermodal account.
