You'll pull down a steady, reliable paycheck while running local loops across Arizona, meaning you get to keep a normal daily routine and be home with your family.
Just a heads-up: this account needs you to be ready to run completely on your own from day one. We cannot take trainees or teams on this one, you must be an experienced solo driver.
What You'll Make
Base Rate: $20.00 an hour (this includes short-haul runs, too).
Stop Pay: An extra $20.00 for every stop you make.
Unload Bonus: An extra $75.00 flat rate every time you unload a trailer.
Weekly Gross: Most of our drivers on this run average a steady $1,600 a week by stacking these hourly and unload rates.
The Work & The Schedule
The Labor: This is a physical, high-stamina delivery job. You will handle driver-assisted live unloads using a trailer liftgate. The freight is mostly pre-loaded carts (about 80%), and you'll stack the other 20% onto carts for store deliveries. You must be comfortable working physically through the hot Arizona summers.
Home Time: 100% Home Daily. You finish your route and head straight back to your own house every day.
The Hours: This account runs around the clock to keep stores stocked, so you need to be flexible enough to handle a mix of day and night runs.
The Weekly Routine: Weekend work is standard to keep the pipelines moving. The upside is you are guaranteed to be completely off on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
What We Need From You
Hiring Area: You must live within 75 miles of Phoenix.
Experience: You must have at least 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience. We cannot take trainees on this run.
Credentials: A valid Class A CDL and a current DOT Medical Card.
The Basics: Clean driving record, solid work history, and you must pass a mandatory hair and urine drug screen.
