CDL-A Local Truck Driver

Highway Hitters Trucking Company is currently recruiting experienced CDL-A drivers for a highly physical, home-daily dedicated position based in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: THIS IS A PHYSICAL DRIVER-UNLOAD POSITION.

Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers and reloading returns using an electric pallet jack. This is NOT a no-touch freight position. Applicants should be comfortable performing physical work throughout a 12–14 hour shift.

Drivers operate a local dedicated fleet delivering to stores throughout Virginia and Maryland.

Physical Requirements — Please Read

This account requires drivers who are comfortable with a very physical workload.

Drivers will:

• Load trailers
• Unload freight at store locations
• Reload returns for transport back to the distribution center
• Operate an electric pallet jack
• Handle multi-temperature trailer operations
• Work extended 12–14 hour shifts

If you are specifically looking for no-touch or drop-and-hook freight, this position is not the right fit.

Additional Position Details

• Local dedicated operation
• Solo driver position
• Remote orientation

Requirements

• At least 6 months of truck driving experience.
• Experience with dry van, reefer, or flatbed trailers.
• Experience unloading freight.
• Must live within approximately 45 miles of Fredericksburg, VA.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Available to work weekends.
• Available for shifts starting between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
• Drivers must have a personal vehicle to commute to the Fredericksburg facility each workday.
