Cornerstone Driver Solutions is recruiting experienced CDL-A OTR Flatbed and Step Deck Independent Contractors for a nationwide operation.
This opportunity is designed for drivers who already have experience with flatbed or step deck freight and understand the demands of load securement, tarping, extended OTR driving, and specialized freight transportation.
Drivers can choose between a $0.85 CPM compensation structure or 30% of gross revenue, with typical weekly gross earnings of approximately $2,400–$3,000, depending on miles, freight, and revenue.
Freight may include machinery, steel coils, lumber, and other flatbed/step deck loads throughout the continental United States.

Important 1099 Disclosure: This is an Independent Contractor position. Advertised earnings are gross compensation, not guaranteed take-home pay. Independent Contractors are responsible for applicable business expenses, taxes, and other costs associated with operating as a 1099 contractor.
3 weeks out / 3 days home
Florida-based drivers may be eligible for a 4-weeks-out / 4-days-home rotation, subject to carrier approval and operational requirements.
Home-time schedules are based on operational requirements.
Drivers are expected to return to the road according to the approved home-time schedule. Remaining home longer than the approved home-time period may result in the truck being reassigned.
This opportunity is best suited for drivers who are comfortable spending extended periods on the road.
Drivers may haul a variety of flatbed and step deck freight, including:
Approximately 30% of loads may be drop-and-hook.
Although the freight may be classified as no-touch, drivers are still responsible for the physical and operational requirements associated with:
No-touch does not mean hands-off. Drivers must be physically capable of performing securement and tarping duties when required.

Advertised earnings are gross earnings and are not guaranteed. Contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes, business expenses, and other costs.
The standard home-time schedule is 3 weeks out / 3 days home. Florida-based drivers may qualify for 4 weeks out / 4 days home.
Drivers who remain home beyond the approved home-time period may have their truck reassigned.
