Position Overview
Our client is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated building-products account offering consistent miles and predictable home time. Freight on this fleet is dry van, no-touch, running the Southwest-Central corridor from TX to OK and into the Southeast, with travel through MI, ND, SD, NE, MS, MO, TN, PA, NJ, KY, KS, IL, IN, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, OH, FL and AL. Home time comes every two weeks, giving you a clear, repeatable schedule you can plan your life around while still running the miles that make the paycheck.

Key Responsibilities

• You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally at all times, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring your hours of service, and keeping your logs accurate and current in accordance with federal regulations and company policy
• You will transport freight on schedule across the Southwest-Central corridor from TX to OK and into the Southeast, with travel through MI, ND, SD, NE, MS, MO, TN, PA, NJ, KY, KS, IL, IN, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, OH, FL and AL, following assigned routes, planning fuel and rest stops sensibly, and communicating proactively with your fleet manager when weather, traffic, or a customer delay puts a delivery window at risk
• All freight is no-touch and drivers average 2,200 miles a week
• Chains may be required during winter months depending on the lane
• You will verify load counts, seals, and paperwork at pickup and delivery, secure freight correctly for transit, and complete bills of lading and delivery documentation accurately so the customer's records and yours agree
• You will represent our client professionally at every customer location, maintain the condition and cleanliness of your assigned equipment, and report mechanical issues promptly so they are addressed before they become a breakdown

Requirements

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, along with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• You must meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements and hold a current DOT medical certification
• An acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history are required
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all federal testing requirements throughout your employment
• Hiring within 50 miles of Dallas and Hutchins TX, Muskogee OK, Crossett AR, Monticello MS, Pennington AL, and Atlanta and Rincon GA
• Park at home or a secure location nearby

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior dedicated account experience is preferred, particularly on fleets with consistent, repeating routes where familiarity with the lane and the customer builds real efficiency
• A clean safety record, consistent on-time performance, and a track record of steady tenure with previous carriers all strengthen an application
• Drivers who communicate well with dispatch, handle customer contact professionally, and take care of their equipment tend to do well on dedicated accounts like this one
