CDL-A OTR Truck Driver – Santa Barbara, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Over-the-Road (OTR) Home Time: Regional + OTR flexibility with extended runs Compensation Target: Up to $1,750 per week ceiling (based on experience and dispatch)
Position Overview
We are seeking a professional CDL-A OTR Truck Driver to represent our fleet out of the Santa Barbara, CA corridor. You will haul dry van freight across key Western and Midwest lanes, including the I-5, US-101, I-80, and I-40 corridors, with occasional runs to the Pacific Northwest and Southwest. This is a solo, over-the-road position built for drivers who value consistent miles, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture.
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory)
Minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience (no exceptions).
Valid Class A CDL with a clean medical card.
No more than 1 preventable accident (in the last 2 years).
No more than 2 moving violations (in the last 2 years).
Zero DUIs or any alcohol-related convictions (in the last 5 years).
No failed drug screens or refusals on record.
Must be able to pass a thorough background check and road test.
Safety Gate Requirements (Strictly Enforced)
All applicants must meet the above thresholds to be considered. No exceptions, no waivers.
We review your MVR and DAC report prior to any offer.
Automatic disqualification for any DUI in the last 5 years, any felony in the last 7 years, or any pattern of unsafe driving.
Equipment & Fleet Standards
Drive a late-model fleet, all tractors under 18 months old.
Automatic transmissions, APUs, inverter, and in-cab navigation.
57-foot dry vans with aerodynamic skirts and advanced safety cameras.
Pre-pass and toll transponder provided.
Compensation & Weekly Pay Scale
Target weekly ceiling: $1,750 (based on dispatched miles, stop pay, and safety bonus).
Per-mile base rate plus per-stop pay and detention pay.
Weekly direct deposit, pay statements available online.

Long-haul routes include I-10, I-15, I-70, and I-80.
