Join a growing, family-owned lumber yard in the Rosedale area. We’re hiring a full-time, direct-hire CDL-A driver to move building materials throughout the East Coast and New England. You’ll earn $28.00–$34.00/hour based on experience, run 2–3 overnights per week, and keep your weekends free.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate company tractors and trailers safely; deliver loads on time while following all procedures.
• Verify shipments against invoices; coordinate unloading—receiver may self-unload, accept hand unload, or require Moffett support.
• Model safety: follow policies, speed limits, and all traffic regulations.
• Keep equipment clean and in proper working order.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections, logs, and required reports accurately.
• Communicate with customers before arrival; resolve or escalate service issues.
• Retain all fuel receipts for IFTA tax reporting.
• Use an ELD to record hours and duty status per DOT.

Qualifications

• CDL A required; safe driving history.
• 5+ years of driving experience (company driver experience preferred).
• Proficient with a 13-speed, split manual.
• Solid understanding of DOT rules; process-driven approach.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift 70 lbs; comfortable operating a Moffett forklift.
• Willing to handle material and perform hand-unloads when needed.
• Reliable, high-energy work style.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug-screening.
