Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A regional dry van drivers in Greeneville, TN. Drivers will be hauling water, forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers in the eastern half of the US. Compensation

Average gross weekly pay: $1,800
Pay based on miles and stops
- Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty
- Average weekly miles: 2,500 - 2,800
- Stop pay: $15 - $33 per stop
- Average weekly stops: 5-10
- Securing pay: $1 per 1000 pounds secured
Bonuses:
- Referral bonus: $5,000

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home Time: Home 2 nights weekly, primarily on the weekend
Schedule: 5-6 days out
- Typically leave out on Sunday or Monday, come back Friday or Saturday
Route: Eastern half of US
Level of Touch: No loading or unloading, must secure freight

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have CDL A license
Drivers preferred with 1+ year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience
Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
No felony in the past 7 years
No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Greenville, TN
