We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL-A Tri-Axle Driver/Laborer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Safely operate tri-axle trucks, including those with manual transmissions, transporting materials such as gravel, dirt, or other bulk loads to job sites.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed to ensure efficient delivery and project progress.
- Drive different types of trucks including Tri-axles, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers depending on project requirements.
- Assist with site preparation by performing labor tasks such as spreading materials, assisting with installation, or setting up equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols during driving and labor activities to maintain a secure work environment.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
- Support route driving efforts to meet project deadlines while maintaining excellent customer service.
- The Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (general physical labor) assisting with the completion of landscape construction projects and snow removal. This person must operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred.
- Ability to drive various heavy-duty vehicles including Tri-axles, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
- Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods.
- Comfortable performing physical labor tasks associated with outdoor construction and landscaping projects.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
