Responsibilities:

POSITION OULINE:

 

We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded CDL A Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role is vital to site productivity and safety, ensuring timely transport of equipment and materials, as well as providing water services such as dust control and soil compaction.

 

The ideal candidate has proven experience in construction transport logistics, a clean driving record, and a strong working knowledge of heavy equipment operations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a water truck for dust suppression, soil compaction, and general site support.
• Transport equipment and materials using a gooseneck trailer between job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate logs and service records in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials as needed.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and site supervisors to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and state/federal transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL A driver’s license unrestricted with a tanker endorsement required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience operating a water truck and/or gooseneck trailer in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Familiarity and/or experience operating or transporting the following equipment is a plus:

• John Deere 470G Excavator
• John Deere 744P Wheel Loader
• Wirtgen 240i Soil Stabilizer
• Mack GR64B Concrete Mixer Truck
• Link-Belt TCC-800 Telescopic Crawler Crane
• Allen 20’ Triple Roller Tube Paver
• Vermeer T755III Trencher
