CDL A Truck Driver

Class A Driver - Local St. Louis Delivery Position in St. Louis, MO 63147
Route & Home Time

• Local deliveries throughout the St. Louis area
• Home almost daily
• One overnight hotel stay per week for deliveries to Indiana and back to St. Louis
• Ideal opportunity for a Class A Driver seeking consistent routes and excellent home time

Equipment

• Late-model tractor with automatic transmission
• 45' trailer equipped with a rear-mounted Donkey Forklift
• Well-maintained equipment designed to support a professional Class A Driver

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver pet food products to stores and distribution centers
• Complete 8-10 stops per day
• Hand unload product using an electric pallet jack
• Secure freight by properly strapping loads
• Safely operate the Donkey Forklift when required
• Represent the company with professionalism as a Class A Driver
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards expected of a Class A Driver

Training & Requirements

• Paid week-long training provided for Donkey Forklift and electric pallet jack operation
• Steel-toe boots required
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Previous experience as a Class A Driver is preferred but not required
• Strong safety record and commitment to customer service
• Reliable and motivated Class A Driver with excellent time management skills
