Role Description This is a full-time remote CDL A Truck Driver role, operating primarily over-the-road while being dispatched from RNS EXPRESS LLC’s headquarters in St. Louis MO. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely operating a CDL A commercial vehicle, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and transporting freight according to schedule and route plans. Drivers will be expected to comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status. The role includes loading and securing freight as needed, caring for equipment, and providing professional, courteous service to customers at pickup and delivery locations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.

• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or comparable commercial vehicles, including long-haul or regional routes.

• Strong safety awareness, including conducting thorough vehicle inspections and following company and regulatory safety procedures.
• \n
• Ability to manage schedules, follow route plans, and maintain accurate electronic or paper logs and delivery documentation.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members while on the road.
• \n
• Capability to handle physical aspects of the job, such as climbing into/out of the cab, securing loads, and working in varying weather conditions.

• Reliable work habits, professionalism, and commitment to representing RNS EXPRESS LLC in a respectful, service-oriented manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional driver safety or CDL training certifications are a plus.
