About the Position
We are currently seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver for local delivery in Fairfield, Ohio. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $28 to $30 per hour, with overtime available after 40 hours. The role primarily involves delivering paper products to Walmart and other stores across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $28 - $30 Per Hour
- Average Weekly Pay: $1200 to $1800
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start Time: Between 3 AM and 5 AM
- Average Hours: 40 hours per week, with potential for 50 to 60 hours
Job Details
- Route Type: Local Delivery
- Freight: Paper products
- Handling: Unloading with a pallet jack and sometimes a 2-wheel dolly
- Overnight Stays: Occasionally required, with a $40 per diem for food
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to various locations in a timely manner
- Unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including paper logs if ELD issues arise
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
