Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and mechanical integrity.
- Secure and manage cargo according to established load securement standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper logs, including hours of service, mileage, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations to ensure seamless coordination of assignments.
- Uphold a professional image and conduct all duties with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and defensive driving principles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Mandatory: A minimum of 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean driving record meeting the following strict safety gate requirements:
- No more than 1 preventable accident within the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 2 years.
- Zero DUIs or alcohol-related convictions within the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to punctuality.
